She graduated high school from Goodlettsville High and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville.
Mitzi began her working career at the age of 14 at Southern Woodenware, her family’s business, where she eventually held the title of Corporate Secretary and Treasurer and assisted in the hiring, training and oversight of over seventy-five employees in the departments of Accounting, Computer, Payroll, Sales, Delivery and Inventory throughout a span of twenty years. Upon sale of the family business, she began working in the legal field as a paralegal.
Mitzi has now been a paralegal since 1998 and greatly enjoys helping people find solutions to their problems through the legal system. She is also the President of a not-for-profit and sits on the Board of the Robertson County Drug Court Program.
